Locally Sourced Milk
The milk we use for our ice cream is produced by Nutcher Farms, based right out of Modesto, CA. Containing more natural ingredients than many leading wholesale producers, it also has 16% milk fat, making our ice cream irresistibly smooth.

Meet Greg -
Founder and Ice Cream Artisan, Greg Raynes, opened Oak Barrel with a dream: to share his childhood joy of making ice cream with those around hi,. His memories of hand cranking ice cream with family in Carmel Valley are the key to this inspiration. Nothing could beat sharing that delicious frozen treat as they gathered together to savor a bowl (or two) after dinner.
Greg now stirs up the same nostalgic memories at Oak Barrel in Turlock, CA. Although the hand crank had been replaced by a small machine, he still crafts and stirs each artisan batch by hand before freezing. every ingredient is hand selected and measured with care, combined into a unique recipe, then mixed and frozen for you to enjoy.
