The Process

from our expert artisans

Assemble & Clean
We carefully put the ice cream machine together ensuring that it is secure. Once together, we sanitize and rinse the machine to make sure that it is free of any dust, debris, or leftover ice cream. If you are concerned about allergy information, please visit the link below.
Quart Prep
While the machine is going through its rinse cycle, the ice cream maker will handwrite the quart lids and place the ingredient labels on the bottoms. (If one of the employees is feeling extra nice, they will help out the ice cream maker!)
Flavor Prep
Next, the ice cream / sorbet base is prepared and all ingredients that make up the flavor will be mixed in.
Mix-In Prep
Mix-ins will be chopped, peeled, or prepared. This can take some time and our scoopers will sometimes help with this as well! (We love teamwork around here!)
Base Made into Ice Cream!
The ice cream base will then be carefully put into the machine and the correct setting chosen to be frozen into a delicious batch of your favorite ice cream!
Add Mix-Ins
At the 5 minute mark, add mix-ins if the recipe calls for it.
Ice Cream is Ready for the Freezer
Once the ice cream is done, extrusions will be sprinkled in as it is coming out of the machine into the quarts or gallons. The ice cream will need to set overnight so it will be placed into our "hard" freezer in preparation to be served the following day!
