Before becoming the artisan ice cream maker that Turlock knows and loves, Greg was a junior high and high school math teacher for 18 years! He's spent many years coaching various sports including baseball, basketball, tennis and track. His love for education is ever present at Oak Barrel where we frequently participate in events where we are able to donate money made from ice cream sales back to the school.
When he's not at the shop making ice cream, he enjoys staying active and traveling with his wife. In this recent year of "partial retirement" Greg has renewed his love for golf!
Greg is a sports fan through and through supporting the local teams including the 49ers, Giants, and Warriors. Stop by and give him a wave!
